The Kansas City Jazz
Orchestra is a big band that includes Kansas City's "A" list jazz
players and educators. Themed concerts with guest artists provide
great entertainment in a big band setting. Expectations are high
when you consider the tradition of Kansas City big band jazz, and
this group delivers.
The king of party jazz is Tim Whitmer (IMO) whom I've played with
for many years. Shows in Denver, New York, and all around KC
feature Tim's persona and vision to "lighten up" the jazz world.
I've produced CD's for him, and done concert sound for his shows on
the Country Club Plaza.
Check him out at

audiences, and provide a great musical outlet for the community.
Please visit their website, and enjoy an upcoming concert.

definitely making a difference, and the music there is an integral
part of the experience. The shot above is from the Haiti earthquake
